Abundance of Materials
Li Clan claimed they innocently invited him. The claim earned scoffs behind their backs since nobody dared to outright question them. Anyone with two brain cells to rub together could tell Li Clan wanted to force Yang Tian to show up. There was nothing to suggest Lin Yuan would make an appearance. Knowing all the facts, Yang Tian’s desire to spill Li Clan’s blood grew as he headed to Myriad Auction Company alongside Chubby and Xiaoji.
Myriad Auction Company’s branch at Vacant Sky City was larger than the branch at Demon Subjugation City and was the liveliest place in the city. Li Clan left them alone owing to their incomparable wealth among auction companies. They had a fantastic reputation for never owing anyone, which encouraged betting among everyone. The guards tasked with taking registrations were exhausted merely taking registrations.
Chubby’s eyes darted around non-stop at the sight of the items, thinking lowly of the betters. Meng Clan was only the middle man in the bet. Those betting on Yang Tian winning would lose everything if they lost, meaning they wouldn’t earn much, while Meng Clan wouldn’t need to pay, making them the biggest winners. If Yang Tian won, the precious items sacred grounds were after would go to the opposition. Despite the potential profits, hardly anyone betted on Yang Tian winning.
Two imposing elders stood behind the maiden with Qing Yuan and Shangguan Hao, warding off people. The two elders from Central State strutted over to Yang Tian the moment he glanced at the girl, shaking his will. Both parties were equally surprised with each other. They couldn’t read the other’s cultivation – that included Desolate Domain’s duo.
Since Yang Tian was in the centre, the two elders exchanging eye contact presumed him to be the leader. The elders surmised Jin Yue wasn’t a match for a single member of the trio despite their background. Desolate Domain’s duo was able to match Yang Tian before he obtained Dao Sutra, and they had improved since then, nearly reaching Battle King Realm. The elders wondered if the trio were from clans that hid themselves away from the public since they couldn’t name many, including the imperial family. After all, not many could rival Su Clan.
The two elders switched to a vigilant mode once they saw the trio leave. Qing Yuan and company defined the duo’s movements and the trio as exceptional. To display courtesy, the two elders suppressed their auras and smiled. “Three young masters, please wait. May we ask what business you have?”
Yang Tian politely saluted the two. “Elders, I would lie to speak to Qing Yuan.”
The elders glanced back at Qing Yuan. They weren’t sure how the two were acquainted; it didn’t make sense. Yang Tian gave Qing Yuan a wink. Qing Yuan, therefore, smacked himself on the head. He rushed over with a grin. “Oh, it’s you… These two are?”
“My friends,” replied Yang Tian, smiling as he stepped back.
Chubby scanned Qing Yuan whilst scratching his head.
Shangguan Hao and the girl, who were close, exchanged contact and grinned as they watched the four whisper amongst each other.
“You’re finally here…” Meng Yunxi, dressed in a qipao, approached Yang Tian whilst leaving other men drooling over her body.
The girl with Shanguan Hao stamped her feet and puffed her cheeks. Then, she grabbed his face and turned it towards her.
Meng Yunxi could sense the duo from Desolate Domain’s cultivation surpassed her own. She gave the two a smile, then told Yang Tian, “You sure have a lot of friends…”
“My friends will be lodging here for the next few days. Help arrange rooms for them,” Yang Tian demanded.
“Sure.” Meng Yunxi quietly notified, “Your order is ready. Come and pick it up.”
“All right, I’ll be leaving first.” Yang Tian followed Meng Yunxi feeling joyous, leaving behind the hall of broken-hearted men.
Shangguan Hao broke free of the girl’s grip. He speculated the young man following Meng Yunxi was Yang Tian but questioned, “Who is he?’
“You’ll find out soon,” answered Qing Yuan, adding a wink before taking Desolate Duo’s duo around.
After entering a resplendent room, Meng Yunxi sat in a chair with her legs crossed, revealing her alluring legs. Yang Tian, however, was focused solely on the materials on the table, with helianthus being the majority.
