More Turbulence
Ever since devils emerged from Pill Flame Domain a year ago, Eastern Continent entered a quiet state. Sects declared they were going to train behind closed doors to prepare for the incoming calamity and protect their Inheritances.
Humanity’s supreme cultivator was still the talk of town. As a matter of fact, his performance reached Central State. Yang Tian never surfaced after his last seen appearance at Pill Flame Domain. Some claimed Central State already defeated him. Others thought he was cultivating in the seclusion on some mountain.
An Autarch Realm adept went to Green Sun Empire armed with a Celestial Weapon and kidnapped one of their citizens, infuriating the empire and breaking the ephemeral peace. Green Sun Empire wasn’t going to let a stranger abduct someone from their lands and strut off.
Li Clan set up a platform to settle their score with Yang Tian. Li Qingxue sent Yang Tian a challenge.

The palace had a demure air to it. Upon sensing a presence approach, Qing Yuan, seething, halted in his tracks. “What’s the matter, Hei Sha.”
“Li Qingxue has inherited an Inheritance. She’s almost reached Battle Emperor Realm,” reported Hei Sha.
“Damned woman!”
“There has to be someone assisting them. Li Clan is not bold enough to kidnap our citizens.” Hei Sha presented a jade slip containing the intelligence collected.
Qing Yuan used his divine soul energy to peer inside. “Who do they think they are, running amok here on Eastern Continent?”
The situation was dire enough for Qing Yuan to have to report back. Accordingly, he headed off.
Every dog has its day. Though Hei Sha had reached Battle Emperor Realm, he admired Yang Tian. He, for one, wouldn’t have been able to boss around a primordial era clan regardless of what miraculous encounter he had, nor would he have dared to pursue Longyang in the presence of humanity’s supreme cultivator.
Nobody was certain if Yang Tian would accept Li Clan’s challenge. If he didn’t, his Martial Spirit would hit a plateau. If he accepted, Li Clan would do everything in their power to ensure their threat was executed.

Clanging sounds started to come from the three square kilometre cave two days later. The inferno inside raised the temperature.
Yang Tian sprayed breaths of crimson of qi and blood into his thirty-three-metres tall cauldron with a qilin on it. Each drop housed a deity. Once the qi and blood landed in the furnace, the furnace would spit fire and expand a fraction.
The interior of the furnace was essentially a domain of stars – courtesy of the drops of silver liquid. Yang Tian intended to refine a Star Pagoda using nine heavens stardust to conceal his Chaos Physique.
Next to the drops was Dubhe Divine Sword. The sword switched between a miniature and large mode. Yang Tian imbued the sword with nine heavens stardust.
The golden battle spear sat inside a furnace considerably different in size. The Weapon Spirit was excited to fuse with the divine material and reach Divine Weapon realm. The amber divine stone had nearly melted.
Xiaobai’s energy was comparable to Chaos’ first emergence. He blew out a white mist to help Yang Tian refine nine heavens stardust.
Xiaojin, following behind Xiaobai, was almost two hundred and ten centimetres tall. Xiaojin had been sleeping and eating lots of blood and essence pills.
Yang Tian woke the crimson qilin, expanding the furnace.
Seven days later, the shining cave shook. The formation managed to contain the turbulence, fortunately. A small nine-storey pagoda apparition had spawned in the void. A black hammer hit the pagoda to forge its soul and shape.
Star Pagoda was a weapon Star Sect used. Yang Tian’s version was an imitation; he intended to turn it into a Divine Weapon. The pagoda could expand and shrink, making it perfect as a defence item. Thanks to the nine heavens stardust’s ability, it also made for a great concealment item.
