Ultimate Golden-Winged Dapeng!
The Mutated Beasts above the furnace absorbed vital essence as they roared because they wanted to shed blood. Auras of creatures burst from the furnace when Yang Xiao placed the golden-winged dapeng’s blood and essence in. The Mutated Beasts stifled their voices and quivered when they sensed the aura. A corporeal dapeng soared out of the furnace.
The corporeal golden dapeng wasn’t even a metre tall, yet it possessed an aggressive demeanour and electrifying eyes. Although it lacked intelligence, it refused to be refined into an elixir. The dapeng decapitated Mutated Beasts one after another with claw attacks regardless of their size, converting them to blood and essence. It also absorbed blood and essence from the furnace as though it was sucking life out of the furnace to boost its divine attribute. Owing to the potency of the blood, qi and spiritual herb, the dapeng wasn’t able to absorb too much of them.
Yang Tian wasn’t wrong to assume it wouldn’t be easy to refine a precious elixir out of a Divine Beast’s blood.
Yang Xiao: “That’s good enough. Just kill the golden-winged dapeng, and you’ll be able to ascend to the highest realm of Dragon Transformation Secret Technique.”
Yang Tian leapt into the pill furnace, closing his pores and diving into his body once he landed at the bottom. At the same time, the elixir inside the furnace gathered on his body. The pain he felt was akin to being shredded; he did absorb a large volume of Mutated Beasts’ Blood and Essence, after all. He nonchalantly allowed the elixir to enter his body.
The dapeng bashed the furnace, knocking red light out of it.
Opening his eyes again, Yang Xiao fired green flames around the furnace and expanded its circumference to three hundred and thirty-three metres. The contents inside gurgled. One minute there’d be qi and blood. The next minute there’d be light rays.
Yang Tian and his immediate surroundings looked as red as a ripe tomato. The blood traces leaked from his pores solidified. The sensation was close to torture, alternating between tearing and immolation. A whirlpool formed next to him. An invisible hand reached out to grab the purple patterns inside the elixir and shoved it into his body. He inhaled enriched vital essence through his nose. His bones crackled. The whirlpool vanished once he finished refining the elixir. The qi and blood ran amok inside his body.
After cleansing his body over a dozen times, switching between paradise and hell, Yang Tian had an urge to gasp blood. He couldn’t survive the qi and blood inside the furnace for too long with his current body. Therefore, he needed divine herbs to recover. He struggled for a while. Fortunately, everything in his body was pristine and upgraded.
There wasn’t much blood and essence left in the vicinity. Still, the golden-winged dapeng was confident in its strength. It locked on to Yang Tian and fired a golden lightning bolt at him from its eyes. He, however, stood still. The impact produced a clang, but all it did was leave a white mark.
Incensed, the golden-winged dapeng dove down and aimed to squash Yang Tian’s head in between its claws.
Yang Tian summoned a qi and blood true dragon that continued to grow once summoned; its transformation indicated he had reached the last secret realm. Entering the enormous transforming dragon allowed him to experience the explosive energy.
Yang Tian unleashed a qi and blood punch. The dragon intercepted the dapeng’s claws with its own. Sparks flew! Clangs resonated! The dragon triumphed, destroying the dapeng’s golden claws. The dragon subsequently lunged up and unleashed a barrage of lethal attacks on the dapeng. Yang Tian punched a wave of energy at the dapeng front on.
Shocked by the intense content, Yang Xiao discharged energy to hold down the shaking furnace, lest it be destroyed.
