Supreme Swordsman of the Nine Heavens – Ch. 410

Over Here

Mu Yu’s new false identity was Cai Lie’s distant cousin. Cai Lie claimed the identity was flawless. He told Mu Yu everything the latter needed to know, included all of his relatives to err on the safe side. He didn’t need to go that far as Formation Sect only checked crucial specifics.

Mu Yu contemplated how to deal with Formation Sect’s peril once he arrived back there. He had every means of remaining a bystander. With that said, he needed to intervene in order to learn Greater Heaven Stage formations and contact Chen Tiandao.

Mu Yu was heavily outnumbered and couldn’t name the spies. He had no evidence to incriminate Luo Feilong and Ji Wenkai as the leaders of the spies. On a positive note, he knew he needed to investigate how they were contacting the other spies.

Lacking a voice made it difficult for Mu Yu to proceed. The reason it was time he challenged the remaining two formation tablets was twofold. One, his success would give him more power. Two, he could lull the two into targeting him, in turn providing him with an opportunity to collect evidence to put the nail in their coffins.

Greater Heaven Caster Lu assembled the Heaven Stage disciples again just days after he returned. Everyone knew what was coming by that point. Unlike his usual self, Greater Heaven Caster Lu lividly reported what Talisman Sect had been up to. The laugh of the day was when he insulted Talisman Sect’s founder, only to realise afterwards that Talisman Sect’s founder was also Formation Sect’s ancestor. Luo Feilong and Ji Wenkai had a lot to say about the scornful insults and profanity fired Talisman Sect’s way, but they had to just bear with it.

Greater Heaven Caster Lu eventually started complimenting Formation Sect and… as expected, he brought up the prodigy he was searching for again. Yet again, his plea went unheard.

“Sorry, what did I miss?” Mu Yu suddenly streaked in and asked, drawing all the attention to him.

Song Qingyu extended Mu Yu’s lesson as he was apologetic for leaving the youth to study on his own last month while he was on business.

“You didn’t miss anything. I thought the humble disciple was finally acknowledging it was him; I even had my happy reaction ready,” jested Greater Heaven Caster Lu.

The disciples burst into laughter at the absurd joke.

“All right, please keep studying hard. Still, I’d like for the individual to stop testing my patience when the situation is d-“

“Oh, you’re looking for the one who broke the formation tablet? I know who he is,” Mu Yu announced.

Everyone stopped breathing.

“Really? Are you serious, Feng Mu? Did you meet them, or did they tell you? Where are they now?” Greater Heaven Caster Lu questioned.

Unfriendly gazes were fixated on Mu Yu as they awaited his response. He pretended they weren’t there and replied, “He was not here before, but he is here now.”

The gazes travelled past Mu Yu to the door. After contorting his neck and squinting, yet not finding anyone, Greater Heaven Caster Lu harshly asked, “Where?”

Mu Yu only noticed everyone was looking past him when he checked their lines of sight. He clarified, “Not there, here! Your man is right here. What are you looking over there for?”

“You?” queried Greater Heaven Caster Lu.

“Ahahahaha, that’s such a bad joke that it’s hilarious in its own way.”

That definitely wasn’t the only insult.

“You all make it sound as if Greater Heaven Disciples have to be Primordial Infant or Body Severing Realm cultivators from the get-go.” Mu Yu meandered over to Greater Heaven Caster Lu.

“If he’s seriously the one who broke the formation tablet, I’ll slap myself ten times,” Zhao Lianggong swore.

“Feng Mu, you better not make a fool out of this old one for your own entertainment. I understand you’re joking to lighten the atmosphere, but this isn’t something to joke about. We are now…”

Mu Yu strolled past Greater Heaven Caster Lu and to the formation tablet behind the latter.

“Is he going from telling jokes to trying to become one now?”

Mu Yu passed through a screen that waved as he passed through. He continued going until he placed his hand onto the second formation tablet and grinned.

“F-finally! It’s been over ten years!” Greater Heaven Caster Lu was in tears.
