Stepmom-con – Ch. 112

Chapter 112

Erisu was with Mana and Sarai preparing to go to the council in a few days. In order for any force to leave the alliance they had specifically get approval or the military assets of an alliance might go to war with someone they should not. The human alliance was large and with many soldiers and resources.

King Bide touted it as the largest force humanity has ever seen through all of time. They were staying in an inn that was near the council hall and prepared the list of those who were willing to join them.

Erisu:”We have to prepare to talk with the council, the Demon invasion is supposed to happen next week. I wonder how the Empress and the others are doing. I wonder if Roy woke up yet.”

Mana:”If you’re so worried about him why didn’t you write?”

Sarai:”She can’t write to him. The Alliance did all those horrific things to him and killed his best friend. How do you think he would feel when he learns she’s been here trying to kiss up to alliance nobles and making concessions and promises? The only reason they haven’t pressured her to bed or forced her to go with Prince Hunte is because they still believe she has her purity.”

Mana sighed. The three of them had lost their purity, and even though it was to give heal Roy they still weren’t sure how he would take it if he found out.

Mana:”None of this would matter if Roy isn’t able to survive the demon invasion. His anger won’t matter if he isn’t alive.”

Erisu:”Roy will forgive me, I know he will. I know he will… but I still don’t want to see him upset or disappointed. I know he has no reason to be but if we had fought to rescue him and ran to the Empire at that time then none of this would have been necessary.”

Sarai:”There is no point in looking at the past anymore. It’s been three years since we came to this world and only a few months until your 18th birthday, we have to keep being strong and moving on. If Roy is worthy to be our husband then he should recognize the fact we sacrificed our bodies to make him whole again.”

Erisu nodded and they looked over the list one more time before they went out to seek their breakfast. Little did they know that there would be a shaking coming to the Kingdom Alliance.

I teleported to the Beipan Kingdom, the central country of the Kingdom Alliance. There was not much else to say except that I wanted my revenge and I was going to have it. No one was going to stop me from killing the people who killed Justin.

I made sure the automatic use of experience points was still on.

I don’t care for all the bull sh** about an eye for an eye makes the world blind. That was just a saying telling us to forgive someone, but how can you forgive someone if they are not sorry? King Bide, Prince Hunte and Princess Arla were not sorry for everything that happened. They laughed as Justin watched his unborn children die.

They mocked us and now they’re refusing to help the Rose Empire. Not that we needed their help, but they won’t apologize unless I have the power to make them and if I had the power to make them then they’d apologize out of fear instead of acknowledging that what they did was actually wrong. They would then look to kill me in the future.

No, the world doesn’t work on forgiveness. The world can only function of evil people are killed, and evil can only be destroyed if the common person can distinguish that evil. If the average person is completely fooled then there is no hope for virtue or freedom in any country or Kingdom.

The Kingdom Alliance was just a means for centralized and totalitarian control over humanity. F**k them. I’m going to kill everyone who stands in my way. The so called soldiers doing their job will be adequately warned and after that if they still insist on following I will kill them too.

In the form of the Omni-mage I arrived near the capital of the Beipan Kingdom. I then changed over to a knight’s form to ride a horse. The horse itself was far more powerful than an ordinary horse as I road down the road onto the entrance of the capital in full armor. Even if I could feel the weight on my body I didn’t feel tired from moving, that was the benefit of taking control of the soldier.

The entrance to the capital had guards posted at the front, they were wary of me approaching and got in formation. Most soldiers would be wary of someone coming to their city in full armor. I was an unknown without an insignia on me.

Roy:”I’ve come to take the heads of King Bide, Prince Hunte and Princess Arla, and I will kill anyone who comes in my way.”

Yeah, I know I was being very direct in that. The soldiers looked at each other and drew their swords.

Soldier:”Those who dare threaten the life of the Royal Family are to be killed!”

Without saying much more they gathered together and surrounded me, then soldiers with spears circled in first trying to stab the horse but I quickly changed over to Justin’s sword and shield configuration.

It’s more appropriate that Justin be the one to take revenge for his own death, even if I have to be the one controlling his avatar at least he has to have a hand in it.

Roy:”The Royal Family can kill whomever they want and you don’t care, but instead you enforce what the Royal Family tells you to do whether good or bad. You only work for your pay!”

I was frustrated but this was the sentiment of most people. They would work for whoever paid them. It didn’t matter whether people were treated fairly, but those in power were served by those who had self interest, and so those in power would move in a way that didn’t give them much options.

That’s how so called governments in a free state operate. None of that matters when one has the power to oppose a King.

Soldier:”Shut his mouth!”

They soldiers now closed in but using this body I was able to easily kill them. Multiple soldiers were chopped down as I bashed their heads in.

Did they have a family? Were they taking care of children, poor and sick parents? None of that mattered if it came at the cost of the lives of someone else.

Soldier:”He’s killing all of us! Go and get help!”

The Soldiers eventually retreated after they saw they couldn’t beat me even with numbers. I had killed twelve or thirteen of them before this happened. The blood splattered on the ground and flowed into the dirt as I walked over the corpses and towards the gate.

Soldier:”Close the gate!”

Another one of the soldiers was ordering the others to try and put a physical obstacle in my way. Against the majority of people this would work, but against me who has powered up this body from killing orcs over and over again?

Roy:”Your King doesn’t even care about your lives. Why do you serve him?”

The soldiers didn’t respond. It didn’t matter as I lifted up the sword and brought it down, smashing the gate they had brought up. There were shocked expressions on their face as a messenger was sent to get help. They needed to inform the heroes that there was someone attacking.
