Stepmom-con – Ch. 106

Chapter 106

Dhalia turned to Sperra.

Dhalia:”The Adventurers had a request when I was there to find out who the summoner of those soldiers were. We have seen them all over the continent and they have large numbers. There was even reports from the tribesmen in the north that there were thousands of them attacking a goblin Emperor and eliminating them.”

Sperra:”Thousands?”

Dhalia:”They outnumbered the goblins, so they can easily gather quickly in areas and disappear quickly as well. The summoner is someone who might be very powerful and if he can help against the demon invasion then it could possibly help us turn the tide much faster.”

Sperra:”So you want me to try and track down this summoner?”

Dhalia:”You’re the best at tracking. You’ve spent most of your life doing hunting.”

Sperra sat there for a moment thinking about the summoner and the help that he had done by eliminating a lot of the monsters. There was still no trace, or perhaps she never searched because there was no need to when he or she was helping the continent so much.

Sperra:”When were any of the soldiers last seen?”

Dhalia:”Around the time our son Roy was captured. It seemed that they all disappeared at once with eyewitnesses watching.”

Sperra:”Couldn’t that mean the summoner is dead?”

They started looking at each other. For a moment the cogs in their heads started to turn.

Xeneva:”Do you think it’s Roy? Roy is the summoner? They started appearing around the time Roy went to Dhalia’s.”

Dhalia:”Roy would also spend a lot of time by himself not wanting to be bothered. When summoners want to control their powers they have to take time and concentrate.”

Sperra:”No, that wouldn’t make sense because they were still moving around when he was traveling with me or when he was with Alondra. I saw a few of them but didn’t pay much attention to them.”

Dhalia:”Sperra, you said that Roy was the one who killed the Lich that you had brought him to hunt.”

Sperra:”Yes, he said he attacked from behind and killed him.”

Dhalia:”Do you really think that’s possible? Remember Roy when tested in the guild was so weak and had no physical abilities. He also had no mana.”

Xeneva:”If he had no mana then how can he be someone who can summon? Summoners take a lot of mana. The amount of soldiers that were summoned were massive.”

Dhalia:”Did you sense mana from those soldiers though? None of the adventurers or the Arcane Sanctum themselves could sense any mana coming from them. So even if the summoner was able to control them it isn’t safe to say that they were summoned by mana.”

Alondra looked at the other three trying to form her own conclusion. Then she thought of something that they hadn’t thought about.

Alondra:”Dhalia, when Erisu first came to the guild did you test her abilities as well?”

Dhalia:”Of course not, the heroine would test as a frail and normal person despite her strength and ability. Even Eliza can’t be tested by it, she comes off as a regular human…”

They all looked back and forth at each other for a moment.

Alondra:”The possibility is there, but we can’t confirm it unless we ask Roy. Dhalia, you need to teleport in.”

Dhalia:”I can’t teleport without knowing the exact location. We need to try contacting her instead. The things she had done over the last twenty years were many and we don’t know exactly where this safe place she made for her and Roy is.”

Alondra:”You can still contact her can’t you?:

Dhalia:”I can but I don’t know if she would answer. We should continue to prepare like we Roy isn’t since we can’t confirm, but if he is and he realizes what is going on I’m sure he will help us.”

Xeneva:”He’ll get revenge first.”

They all realized that was the truth. Roy would seek revenge for what happened to his best friend.

Sperra:”I will still see if I can find clues about this summoner because if it isn’t Roy then his help would still be necessary to fight the demon invasion.”

A week goes by and my army was getting stronger. I had all twenty five level sevens and the extra points could make them stronger. I can feel the strength increase just by staring at them.

Level seven was supposed to be the avatar I take into control and can speak through. The one Justin made was supposed to be for him. We should have been able to fight the demons together, maybe even kill a lot of them with our own hands this way. I loved playing video games.

Mom was with me every night so I didn’t have an opportunity to talk with her about what I was going to do. I had to practice with the soldiers or I could still get beaten. Since mom was with me all the time I just had to wait until we were both awake. The best time was at night in bed after we rolled around in the bedsheets.

The strength to thrust was gradually returning to me, and every night I went at it harder. That night after the first week the moonlight shined through the window while I was on top for the first time.

I grabbed mom’s waist and pushed in as deep as I could go. I kept going and going until my started to squeal from it. The strength had returned to me much faster than I though it would.

Eliza:”Roy! You’re getting stronger everyday! The magic to heal you must have worked well, I’m so glad you can still use all your parts.”

The bottom part of mom was shivering.

Roy:”Mom, can we go again?”

Mom took a deep breath.

Eliza:”Roy I’m glad you’ve got your energy back but mommy is tired now. Mommy needs to rest, mommy isn’t that young anymore so that part of mommy needs to rest. We did it every night Roy.”

Roy:”But mom! I need more. I’m not satisfied yet. Please? One more time?”

There was a little bit of fear on mom’s face as her lips moved.

Eliza:”Okay, just one more time tonight okay? Then mommy needs to rest.”
