Stepmom-con – Ch. 54

Chapter 54

Roy:”Justin, I think you should teleport your guys to the escape route I found for the goblin Emperor. There are young girls in the throne room.”

Justin:”What? Alright fine.”

Justin slit the throat of two Goblin Champions with his sword and shield.

Roy:”I’m bringing in level two archers and warriors, the Emperor is a tougher and he’s carrying a girl. We’re going to try and save the girl.”

Justin:”Save the girl? Yeah, you always want to save the girl.”

Roy:”It’s the right thing to do man.”

Justin:”Well it is, look let’s play it with skill.”

The Goblin Emperor was going down the passage way and I sent several soldiers along the way. The level two daggers wore all black and could camouflage into the shadows of the hidden passage. The Goblin Emperor ran down with the girl in his arm as she screamed and struggled to break free.

Justin:”You’re going to do a surprise attack?”

Roy:”I am, we have to make him let go of the girl, when that happens I’ll have the dagger user escape backward and we’ll block the entrance of the hostage area until we take down the Emperor.”

Justin:”So you’re going to make the tunnel a spawn point?”

Roy:”Well, it’s not in the view of anything. The map is really a cheat item. No goblin is escaping and if they do we’ll hunt them down until they’re all dead. I hate these bastards and the way they treat girls as nothing but toys.”

Justin:”I get it, anyway run the plan and lets save her.”

The daggers lay in the dark and the Goblin Emperor ran by, with the girl being dragged in his arms. Seeing the girl I felt very angry. In my previous world beautiful girls like her were rare.

Roy:”I’m going in now.”

The Daggers came out and stabbed the goblin emperor. He reacted to the attack and dropped the girl while taking up both arms to defend his head as another dagger carried her off. Looking over, I could see the girl wasn’t in bad shape like the others.

A hidden dagger went toward the inside of the nest where I had seen the throne and I put in a lot of level two sword users and spear users to defend the entrance. Several champions came and they were struck down by the spear users while the sword distracted them.

The level one soldiers there made sure to take care of the girls and unhook them and unchain them and a healer… yes I spent points on a healer… helped expel the goblin parasites from their body as well as healed their wounds.

Woman:”Thank you, please give me your name.”

Silence was in the room. I can’t answer them, whatever! Let’s kill the Goblin Emperor. I brought out the dual blades and walked down the tunnel in the dark. Justin came from the opposite end.

Justin:”Where did you take the girl?”

Roy:”The soldiers are going to create a path for her as I had seen some of the northern people following us here. I’ll pass her to them I guess.”

Justin:”What if they’re enemies and they do something to her?”

Roy:”What, do you think I should take her home instead?”

Justin:”I mean…”

Roy:”We can’t even talk to her with these soldier avatars. Look, I’m not too concerned with what humans do to each other, I’m more concerned with killing monsters. Human politics aren’t things I want to take part in.”

Justin:”Alright then.”

The Goblin Emperor slammed his weapon down killing more of the soldiers who kept running towards him. The soldiers made no sound but kept attacking. Because the soldiers did not care if they got hit, and rushed in to attack it was harder for the Emperor to defend against them.

Goblin:”Suicide! You all are suicidal! You attack! You die!”

The sudden yell startled me, but in the end it’s all the same. The Goblin King was going to die and there as nothing that was going to prevent this from happening. I could keep a steady stream of soldiers coming at him constantly.

The Goblins on the surface were being steadily slaughtered as they continued to fight a losing battle where not only were they outnumbered but also outclassed. The dead bodies of the smaller goblins littered themselves all over the ground with their blood.

The Chief watched on as he saw the soldiers killing the goblins. The goblins also killed many of the soldiers as the dead bodies littered the ground, but there were far fewer dead soldiers than goblins. Among the soldiers there were a few dozen carrying women towards them. A young teenage girl with silver hair hugged the neck of a soldier as he carried her up towards the chief and his hunters.

The Chief couldn’t believe his eyes.

Chief:”Daughter?”

Daughter:”Father!”

The girl wanted to get down so the soldier put her down. She then ran towards the chief who had gotten off his horse as the soldiers brought the women to them and placed them down as well. Without saying a word the soldiers turned around and made their way back towards the goblins.

Chief:”Thank you.”

The Chief bowed, the soldiers ignored him but he did not feel dissatisfied with this perceived disrespect.

Tribal Hunter:”You, greet the chief—“

The Chief held up his hand.

Tribal Hunter:”But they are disrespecting you, Chief.”

Chief:”My daughter is here and safe, there are women from our tribe and from other tribes that have been rescued. We’ve been given help, and their army might be a strange one where they speak to no one. Leave them, we will thank them in any way we can if we see them again. They have sacrificed many of their own while killing the goblins.”

Daughter:”Father… I can’t believe I’m still alive. The Goblins, they were…”

She broke down crying while comforted in her father’s arms.

Father:”Your family is at home. Come, let’s go.”

They road away.
