Stepmom-con – Ch. 52

Chapter 52

Justin and I went to the book store in town to look for books and information about Dungeons. The adventurer section always had good books and my allowance was plenty.

We took the books homem, but I was the only one who was reading. Justin went off with the girls. I don’t blame him though, if I had five beautiful women interested in doing it with me I’d also be doing it every friggin’ night.

I was happy for him. Really. I keep telling myself that.

Well, okay I’m a little jealous but he’s still my best friend and I was more happy than jealous for him. Besides, the three girls I was going to have after were each more beautiful than the ones he was currently with. That included my succubi adopted step-sisters.

While he had quantity, I would have quality.

Going through all of the books the information about Dungeons I found interesting. The Dungeons were areas that formed due to mana It was where a lot of collected mana became trapped in one area, usually a cave or crevice. When there was a high enough concentration of mana it would cause the creatures inside those caves to evolve. Sometimes the cave will begin to have what appears to be architecture and often there might be gathered intelligence in those dungeons. This was the mana taking the sentiments of the world.

Since the mana gathered in that area, there would be many materials that were infused with mana that could make magical items. Magic would vastly improve manufactured equipment.  Thus the cycle would go something like this:

  1. Mana gathers, monsters appear.
  2. Monsters fill dungeon, maybe one develops intelligence and starts making traps.
  3. Monsters leave dungeon and spread around, and are discovered by adventurers.
  4. Adventurers conquer dungeon, collect materials.
  5. Then Mana gathers in that same place again.

Monsters start coming out of dungeons early on, however mana sometimes affects animals turning them into monsters as well. The case of the giant wolf in the forest may have had it’s origins in a dungeon. After the monster gained sapience, it then wanted to wander the world and see what was out there.

There were also naturally occurring monsters and it was possible the wolf was naturally occurring. Dragons, goblins, orcs and giant wolves perhaps were part of the eco system but could also be found in dungeons.

Either way, it didn’t matter. Since I could use a third person viewpoint on my soldiers along with the fact I had many soldiers, I planned on brute forcing the dungeon.

It was still in the middle of the afternoon when I started to enact this plan. A few soldiers were close to what would be considered a high ranking and dangerous dungeon by rating of the Adventurer’s Guild. I pulled out a thousand soldiers and set them to explore and fight whatever was in there.

They proceeded through he narrow corridors and areas that the dungeon had layouts within. They marched through and after multiple traps, monsters and hazards they made it to the center of the dungeon where the ‘boss monster was’ and beat it down. I lost about two hundred soldiers but all the monsters were dead so I took the points and bought more soldiers getting three hundred more.

Not bad. I began the dungeon excursion.

In most stories I’ve read, the dungeons would have the main character running around, avoiding traps and fighting monsters. In my case, I wasn’t even at the dungeon. I just flooded it with some soldiers through the passages and began to draw out the map as I sent soldiers through.

Well, actually the map function showed me the layout of the dungeon so it was kind of cheating. I just had to make the soldier use tactics, skip traps and focus on killing the monsters and the boss.

The second dungeon had some undead in it including skeletons and zombies. The skeletons were beaten down by a few level two mace wielders. The level one soldiers with bows shot the zombies with hundreds of arrows at a time. Each volley would be so large the heads would be pierced.

Soldiers with swords fought against an ogre that was deep in the dungeon. That ogre was tough, I lost about fifty soldiers but one of the level one soldiers finally ran through the ogres face with a spear after a few tries and sacrifices.

Fighting against ogres became a tactical affair, but losing soldiers was no big deal. I had to wonder what it would have been like if these soldiers were real people instead, it’d be some horrifying dungeon excursion where their buddies died one by one to the monsters and they would question if it was worth all this to put their lives on the line just to clear a dungeon.

Those movies were overdone all the time. It’s better this way where they come back after seven days. After a few hours and about a thousand dead soldiers, I finally made it to the center and got the dungeon materials. Magical Silver and some Mythril.

Despite that, clearing a dungeon gave fifty thousand Impact points which was about a tenth the amount as killing the entire Warlord’s army.  It was a huge gain and I could add another thousand level one soldiers, but for good measure I also put in a few more magic users in case there were elemental traps or something to disarm.

This was a low level dungeon after all.

I had a soldier write on a paper: “The Silent Leader Greets Riss and Liss” then the soldiers took the materials and brought it to the closest merchant guild.

The branch manager was surprised as the soldiers didn’t talk and filed out and disappeared. It was kind of fun and I didn’t suffer embarrassment because I wasn’t actually there.

I shot a message over to Justin.

Roy:”Hey, Justin, if my sisters get a package from some of the silent soldiers don’t be surprised but also pretend you know nothing about it. I’ve delivered some dungeon materials to them.”

Justin:”You cleared the dungeon already?”

Roy:”It was a low level one I was testing out. The final boss was just a mana ogre or something like that. There might be a more powerful dungeon somewhere else to try out.”

Justin:”Well thanks for the heads up, I’ll at least pretend not to know anything about the Silent Soldiers. It’s funny what the people of this world are calling your army. It’s fun to be able to do this stuff in secret.”

Roy: “I know right, anyway what are you doing right now?”

Justin:”We’re out on the town. You should come with us sometime.”

Roy:”And watch you get it on with those five girls?”

Justin:”Well, you can always bang your mom you know.”

Roy:”What the heck?!  Dude man! Really? You’re going to throw that out there?”

Justin:”We both know how hot both your known moms are, and they aren’t blood related. I mean doesn’t that vampire woman sleep with you in her arms every night? You’re a grown man, she’s practically begging for it.”

I don’t even know how to respond to this. Honestly, I’m not even sure what to say. Dhalia is my mom. Xeneva is my mom. I know they have some sort of wish to see that happen but would the relationship stay the same if we did it? No, it’d change… and not only that I’d be betraying Erisu as well.

I can’t betray the girl I’ve loved since my last life, even if I didn’t actually meet her in my last life.

Justin:”I’m just messing man, it’s like the perfect way to tease you. Anyway, your sisters Riss and Liss do want to spend more time with you.”

Roy:”Well I’m willing to spend time with them as long as you aren’t there. I mean, they’re my sisters… also I don’t like having to see them doing stuff with you.”

Justin:”Fine, I’ll let them know later.”

With that the conversation ended. I realized that the soldiers could be issues commands and the information from strategies could be shown to me in the system so I didn’t have to micromanage their movements.

The system could also alert me if there was an issue or a new engagement and if there was no active combat the soldiers could be set to go on stand by per my intentions before advancing again. This could be done easily since I no longer had to take direct control of any soldiers.

It was easier just ordering them to move and attack with my thoughts and then leaving them there. More of the dungeons were cleared and I continued to have points coming in. Eventually I reached a hundred thousand soldiers three months into my stay here.

I was still far away from twenty five million but it was a good start and I had only been at this for three months. Riss and Liss were out on a longer trip this time while I was with Justin. The dropping off of dungeon materials for my sisters kept them busy and the movement of the soldiers to the north to find and fight the goblins had been slowed because I stopped at every dungeon along the way.

I even sent some of the soldiers towards the Orc Lands far to the west thinking there might be some chance of getting more points that way. The Orcs were tough and war like so getting rid of them might be good too but I was a bit hesitant to kill all of them considering they were a good source of points. There were only small outpost on this continent so I would have to send soldiers to other continents to really fight them.

It was sort of a dilemma, but in reality the more war there was the more powerful my army would get. It’s a system that would let me beat any enemy by attrition no matter how strong they are. What I really wanted to do was finish planning the raid on the Goblin Emperor.

A few days later Justin was staying at the mansion with me as we were finally planning our raid against the goblins. There were about fifty thousand of them so we outnumbered them two to one. I had more soldiers now after raiding several dungeons.

Justin:”We ready for this?”

Roy:”Yep. If we kill the goblin Emperor I can expand the army by thousands more.”

Justin:”How many level twos do we have?”

Roy:”Ten of each for now. The magic users help a lot with the dungeon traps and elemental monsters. Light users are the most expensive but they’re great against zombies and undead, they can also heal other soldiers as well.”

Justin:”I see. Well dungeons are boring and they take a lot of time. They are a little fun when I’m controlling and trying to avoid traps and fight monsters but you keep surrounding everything with soldiers.”

Roy:”Fine, I’ll let you take on a dungeon by yourself then after we take care of the Goblin Emperor.”

Justin:”Thanks!”

Roy:”You and your game addiction.”

Justin:”You and your unwillingness to bang hot milf p***y!”

Roy:”She’s my mom!”

I don’t know what it was with him but he’s been constantly making jokes about me doing it with Dhalia and Xeneva. Telling me he’d respect me if I could have a three some with the both of them.

Justin:”Not in blood she isn’t. Come on think about it, she sleeps with you every night! She’s so hot, if she were my mom and doing that I wouldn’t be able to stop myself man.”

I kept quiet. There was no use responding to him. This is the kind of teasing people do to each other and while there’s nothing malicious behind it, it’s still terribly embarrassing.

Roy:”Look, I’m just going to order the soldiers to attack the goblins. Are you going to take control?”

Justin:”Yeah, I’ll take control. What about you?”

Roy:”I’m just going to watch over the battlefield and send them in using the map. I want to see how differently this would work.”

Justin:”Alright, it’s always good to experiment.”

Roy:”Yes it is.”

Justin:”Too bad you won’t experiment with your mom.”

Roy:”Shut up! Shut the hell up! Seriously!”

My face felt flushed and red being constantly reminded about Dhalia and Xeneva. They were so… ugh…

Justin:”Alright man, that’s enough for now. Let’s do this.”

Justin had a smile as he went to his bed room and went to mine. The vision of the battlefield came up and I made sure to put soldiers in positions to surround them. The total number of goblins according to the map was 43,234. The vast majority of them were small and common ones.

My standing forces were 119,353 level one soldiers and 258 level two soldiers, I hadn’t tapped into the third customized soldier yet and was still saving it. I didn’t bother with level three just yet since I figured at this point having more soldiers was better.

Almost all the human villages up north here were already wiped out by them. There were a few littered around and I made sure to arrange the soldiers to protect them, some of the villagers noticed the soldiers but I made them bow and walk onward which had the villagers see that they meant no harm.

A goblin emperor might pose a threat when they vastly outnumber the human population, but from what I’ve seen the majority of Kingdoms have a few million soldiers each. The Beipan Kingdom was the largest Kingdom, and it was also more populous and bigger than the Rose Empire which was the second largest country in this small area.

Any of those kingdoms if they wanted too could probably crush the Goblin Emperor without issue.

Elsewhere there were Orc Lands, Savage lands with jungle tribes that were unexplored, and my map was able to show where the human population was.

Based on the maps, this planet was much larger than earth despite the fact that the gravity didn’t feel different at all.

Justin organized himself in place just north of the Goblins with a few soldiers. I brought in about ten thousand into that location as the soldiers surrounded the large goblin land control areas.

Justin:”You still don’t have any flyers or long rage siege weapons?”

Roy:”They’re too expensive for right now. I’ll buy some after this assault since we only need about a hundred or so for now.

Justin got into place.

Justin:”Ready for assault commander!”
