Chapter 91
The jailer hit Justin in the face, then kicked him in the stomach and then between the legs. Justin was crying and desperate with tears coming out of his eyes. I don’t know what to say, I can’t say anything. I can’t even do anything.
Roy:”I’ll kill you… I’ll kill all of you!”
A recording stone clicked.
Hunte:”Good of you to say demon.”
Hunte had recorded my words to use against me. He looked over to the jailer who then took out a hook. The hook was rusty with one sharp end.
Hunte:”Rip the man apart.”
The jailer proceeded towards Justin and used the hook to poke into him. Each poke tore out a piece of flesh and Justin shrieked unable to bare the pain. The blood flowed out from him until he stopped moving and stopped breathing within a few minutes.
My best friend was now dead. I couldn’t say anything. I wanted to kill them but what could I do right now?
Hunte:”Now with that done we’re not going to kill you Roy, but we are going to take some things from you.”
Roy:”I don’t care.”
Arla:”Why aren’t you going to kill him?”
Hunte:”We need him still for negotiation. Father has the mages preparing a magical contract, but just because we’re not going to kill him doesn’t mean he isn’t going to suffer.“
Arla glared at me, but I didn’t care. My best friend was dead and no matter how angry I got now what was going to happen? Erisu… that… stupid girl… she should have freed me…
Hunte:”We’re going to cut off his genitals, his limbs and also rip out his tongue. We can’t have him talking anymore.”
The jailers came to me with a knife…
Roy:”Just kill me! Kill me instead!”
Arla:”You don’t get to make that decision.”
I felt her fist hit me in the face knocking out several teeth. She hits hard… she was clearly stronger than a human should be. Her foot then smashed itself into my stomach and I felt myself blacking out before I felt her hand grabbing my neck.
Arla:”No you don’t get to black out. I want to watch you scream while we do what’s next. Trying to take partners that should belong to my brother.”
She had a knife in her hand and she tore off my pants…

Mana brought Erisu and Sarai quickly to the Empire and they sought an audience with the Empress which was quickly granted. The Empress had the entire palace prepared for what she had considered to be very important guests whom she wanted to impress.
The Empress was sitting on her throne as Erisu, Mana and Sarai came in.
Erisu:”Empress! We need your help! Our party turned on us and took Roy into custody. They said it was due to an attempt to assault Princess Arla of the Beipan Kingdom.”
The Empress looked at the heroine, the mage and the priestess.
Empress:”Why didn’t you fight to free him?”
Erisu:”Your Majesty, we were in the middle of town and there is an imminent attack by the Demons. We still need the Beipan Kingdom’s help and they’re the head of the Alliance of Kingdoms.”
The Empress continued to wear her mask but she didn’t move for several moments. No one could tell what she was thinking before she got up and called to her guards.
Empress:”Ashes, round up all the valkyries and come with me. We’re going to the Beipan Kingdom.”
Erisu was a bit surprised. She had come seeking advice, but this response was different.
Ashes:”Yes your Majesty, we will gather within fifteen minutes and be ready to set off. Shall I call for the mages for teleportation?”
Empress:”Yes, I’m going to notify some appropriate parties in the meantime. Erisu, Mana, Sarai, you made a mistake not forcing the issue and saving Roy. You’re the Heroine and have a sword that can seal away the demons, you didn’t properly use that as leverage.”
The Empress had a colder voice than usual and Erisu felt a chill as she heard her speak. This wasn’t the same warm Empress who had trained her before. The Empress had left the throne room into one of her personal chambers and a few minutes later she came back.
Empress:”We are leaving.”
They followed out as a few thousand Valkyries came. The Empress alerted her generals to protect the Rose Empire and cities while she was gone. Ashes stood at the Empress’ side as the mages came to teleport them. Erisu, Mana and Sarai were there as the formation was formed.
Empress:”Mana, channel some magic along with the mages. We’re teleporting a large number of people.”
Mana:”Yes Empress.”
The formation was finished and they were teleported near the gates of the capital of the Beipan Kingdom. The Empress had hidden artifacts all around the other Kingdoms in case she wanted to invade in the past, this was simply one chance to use it. Dhalia had taught shown the mages the teleportation spells.
Mana:”How is it you have teleportation formations Empress? The only one who has it is—“
Empress:”Dhalia. Yes, I know. My relationship with Dhalia is special, just as is my relationship with the other exterminators.”
Erisu and Sarai kept silent as they moved towards the gates, the Empress with her armor shining in the now afternoon sun and the army of women who wore nothing but leather bikini armor that showed every bit of their muscles as the sharp double edged swords were held in their hands ready for battle. The guards at the Capital could only see the army of women coming towards them.
Guard:”Empress of the Rose Empire, we greet you in the name of the Beipan Kingdom but your army is not permitted into the Capital.”
Empress:”We are passing through.”
The guard sounded an alarm and more soldiers came out. There was a captain of the guards that arrived who saw the Empress and was at a loss of what to do.
Captain:”Your majesty, please put down your arms and allow an escort from the Royal Palace to come and receive you.”
The Empress had waited a few minutes for them to assemble and her patience was wearing thin. Erisu watched on and wasn’t sure if alerting the Empress was something she wanted to do. She felt regretful that she didn’t just fight to free Roy in the first place.
Empress:”Ashes.”
Ashes walked forward with a squad of the most elite Valkyries. They stood in front of the captain with cold stares.
Ashes:”Let us pass or be cut.”
Captain:”I can’t let you pass-”
The captains head rolled on the floor chopped clean off his shoulders. There was no change in expression from Ashes as she stepped forward with her sword.
Ashes:”March forward and prepare the way for the Empress!”
Ashes stepped forward along with the other Valkyries and they cut the soldiers of the Beipan Kingdom as they came to fight. The soldiers were only average and couldn’t stand up to the power of the women who had talent and trained night and day to hone their bodies to an extreme extent. The armor did not matter as the swords cut through the metal like butter as a certain mana coated the blades.
Erisu:”They’re… so strong.”
Empress:”You are as strong as them, if you sharpened yourself you would be stronger than me. That is the disposition of a heroine but your heart is weak and your resolves soft. It makes me wonder if you are even fit to be the wife of Roy.”
Erisu wasn’t sure why the Empress was speaking in way that showed a form of possessiveness. The Empress should never have met with Roy before and it seems she speaks for him.
Erisu:”I’m sorry Empress.”
The Empress nodded and the pressed forward.
Empress:”There better not be any harm that came to him or I’ll destroy the alliance with everything in my power.”
The voice was cold and angry. Erisu felt a chill. Sarai and Mana also looked at her in a more questioning manner.
The Valkyries despite their near naked bodies continued to cut through the armored soldiers like paper. Their swords were sharp and their reflexes and strength of swings were at a level that could fight off most adventurers. The Empress had trained them well from a young age, all of them.
Ashes:”Step aside for the Empress or be cut down!”
