Stepmom-con – Ch. 59

Chapter 59

Two weeks later Justin was getting ready to go on a trip with his five fiances. They were going to go out of the region so they were leaving without me, Dhalia said she still has six months with me so I couldn’t leave.

At this point there was nothing much I could really do since there was one fact that remained throughout time. When bros get married, they need to take care of their family first.

Although it would be more accurate to say that his wives are the ones taking care of him, still it’s good that he found a place to be in this world. They were going to show him the ropes on how the business runs and using his previous world’s knowledge I feel like he’d be able to succeed.

That’s probably in my future too except it might just be my moms continuing to take care of me the rest of my life. I wanted to help them but I wasn’t sure how my army would when there seemed to be a lot of peace. When the demons invade I’ll have them help fight but for now there really isn’t much use for them except in eliminating the higher risk threats.

Justin was packed up with the five of them.

Roy:”Remember you won’t be able to access the system if you’re more than a kilometer way.”

Justin:”I think you got the hang of it, and with all the soldiers in your command you could probably brute force your way through most things. Just don’t lose another large pot of points.”

Roy:”Don’t remind me.”

Justin:”Oh, and try to get laid with your mom since you’re going to be away from Erisu for a while. She’ll be coming to the wedding so try asking her permission then.”

Roy:”Shut up!”

Me asking my Fiance for permission to do the mating act with my moms? I don’t know why but Justin had been joking about that more and more. It was horrible because I kept thinking about it. What if I did it with Xeneva and Dhalia? I mean… they were so beautiful…

Justin:”Alright you won’t get to hear me tease you for a few months anyway. Take care buddy.”

Roy:”Take care and have a safe travel.”

Riss and Liss said good bye with a smile while the other three said good bye in a polite way. I guess I wasn’t that close to them. It’s funny because if they hadn’t pulled in Justin trying to get close to me they wouldn’t be with Justin now.

Dhalia came out of the house and brought amulets for the other three girls. They were quite surprised.

Edna:”Guild Master, this is an amulet made by you?”

Dhalia:”It doesn’t have the teleportation effect but it should be able to protect your life three times before breaking.”

Chrissy:”Thank you! This is such a wonderful thing.”

Riss:”It is isn’t it? Aunt Dhalia always makes the best protection items.”

The face on those three girls seemed to glow as though they could never receive such favor. I was a bit surprised, and now I understood why they wanted to get on my good side so badly. Benefits came when you won favor with someone powerful.

I kind of wonder how Hemo and Pen are doing. I’ll probably send a few soldiers to check on the village even though it’s quite far away.

Their carriage and caravan departed with Riss and Liss organizing those who worked for them. Since they had three A-Class adventurers with them in Edna, Chrissy and Arwen they already had a permanent escort including what Riss and Liss could do.

It was a great business move in one sense.

Dhalia:”Darling I hope you don’t miss your friend too much.”

Roy:”I hope I don’t either.”

Dhalia:”So what do you want to do now darling? Are you going to stay home and play around?”

I had saved a lot of gold coins in my account. Xeneva sent me an allowance whether I spent it or not. It was nice to have as I already had more than enough to buy my own mansion.

Roy:”I’m not sure. It’s not bad to stay home.”

I honestly don’t know if I want to keep adventuring in the soldiers since I lost that goblin. It was still affecting me.

Dhalia:”Why not come to the guild with me?”

Dhalia was smiling. I mean I guess I could do that. It would be better than doing what I’ve currently been doing.

Roy:”Alright sure. I have a few months left here anyway, I should go and see what it’s like to work for the guild even if I can’t be an adventurer.”

The next few months passed by quickly. There was an Adventurer named Silver who would come and report the sightings of the Silent Soldiers and the monsters they cleared. It was interesting to see how the impact of those soldiers came.

I made sure not to do the jobs that paid higher so I didn’t take away the business of adventurers but most of the things I did involved killing monsters that were bothering the poor. The adventurers seemed to indicate that the Silent Soldiers were taking away the business of those who would normally be F-class.

Either way, the funds of the Adventurer guild weren’t in an trouble since they worked closely with the merchant guild in procurement of resources.

When I checked on Pen and Hemo they were busy working on the farm as usual and sleeping with all the girls in the village. My level two daggers were adept at sneaking around and spying and all the things my soldiers see I can see as well through the system.

I continued to receive letters from Erisu while she was training. It seemed like life came to a standstill over these months while I slept in bed with Dhalia every night. Her arms were cool and kept me comfortable. As long as I wore the band I didn’t have to worry about my snake awakening.

It was an easy and blessed life, and I could only imagine it getting better since there were so many more preparations made against the demon invasion. I was building my army up for that purpose.

Justin followed Riss and Liss on their itinerary as they were now visiting the Empire. There was some business and trade to be done and they were going to make a new deal with the Empress as the old one expired.

Heading into the training grounds where the Empress spent most of her time, they entered a court hall as Erisu greeted them along with her Companions and Arla was by the side staring and observing. Riss bowed to her.

Riss:”Greetings Heroine, how have you been with the training?”

Erisu:”It’s been hard but I feel stronger every day.”

Erisu walked over to one of the benches and easily lifted it over her head. There was something to be said about the physical strength as Justin gulped hard. While he knew that his soon to be wives were powerful as well they never performed such feats of strength in front of him unless they were killing monsters on their journey.

They made the soldiers that Roy had look like little children in comparison from everything he had observed over the last month.

Erisu:”Justin, you aren’t with Roy?”

Justin:”Well, I’m going to be married soon so I wanted to come along with their business since I’ll be working with the family soon.”

Erisu:”I see, well congratulations on the engagement and I’m happy. We will come to the wedding in Adventure city.”

In truth, Erisu wanted to see Roy more. She wanted to make sure the changes she had over the last several months to her body were not something he would dislike. When people change over time there is always the fear that they would be too different than expectations.

Justin meanwhile felt his heart skip a beat as he looked at Erisu. Her body was slimmer and more fit, devoid of all the childish fat she had before even though there wasn’t much. Her breasts were even larger which caused a more extreme contrast and she was taller. Defined muscle was all on her arms and her abs were solid in the training tunic she wore.

Erisu seemed to have no shame at all wearing the skimpy tunic.

The Empress walked in and they all bowed in her presence. Justin had been given a few etiquette lessons while he had been traveling.

The Empress was a slightly taller than average woman. She was a bit taller than Roy, maybe a few centimeters but Justin was even more surprised by seeing Erisu who was several centimeters taller than the Empress. Still, despite that there was ample armor around the Empress’ chest while she covered every part of her body except for her eyes.

Empress:”Rise.”

Riss stood up and presented a contract to the Empress who promptly opened it and signed it. This made Justin surprised.

Justin:”Empress, you trust the company?”

Empress:”Is there a reason not to trust the daughters of the Merchant Guild leader? They’ve never cheated anyone.”

The Empress spoke as though that was par for the course and there was no reason for doubt which made Justin a bit proud that his wives were so honest and trustworthy.

Empress:”Now that business is done I invite you to stay a few days. There will be a suite for you, you can have the same room or separate.”

Liss:”We’ll take the same room for all five of us.”

Empress:”Very well, done.”

The Empress then walked away with Ashes following her. Ashes seemed amused.

Ashes:”You invite them to stay for a few days for Erisu’s sake didn’t you?”

Empress:”What if that’s true?”

Ashes:”Nothing except that it’s predictable.”

Empress:”So what if it is? I’m the Empress, I can do anything I want.”

The two women walked away and Justin went to his suite with Erisu, Mana and Sarai following. The room was large and they sat down while some cooks made food. Arla had tried to join but since everyone ignored her she read the room and didn’t force herself.

They sat around a table where there were snacks and Justin was being fed by Liss even though he insisted he could feed himself but she said she enjoyed feeding him so he couldn’t refuse.

Riss:”Erisu, our brother misses you. The fact the demon invasion was delayed has made him distraught.”

Erisu:”Really?”

Riss:”Part of the reason we left with Justin is because you could see on his face how pained he was about not being able to be with you for another two years. The purity requirement for the Heroine is something that is probably difficult.”

Erisu’s expression became softer as she thought of it. Roy was a man after all, and since he had lived two lives and not had any contact with the opposite sex in the way he wants it must have been painful. Still, she had to remain pure and so should he.

Erisu:”I know he is in pain and I won’t be opposed if he wants to move on.”

Riss:”He doesn’t want to move on. He wants to be with you and is willing to wait, it’s just he has to busy himself now or it might drive him crazy being apart.”

Erisu:”I see.”

There was a smile on her face as she thought about it. Having someone genuinely love her and it not being because she was famous.

Riss:”Our wedding will be soon so make sure to teleport in. Aunt Dhalia will do that for you, and I believe the Empress will be coming to our wedding because my mother invited her.”

They continued their chat for a few more days and Justin kept thinking about what Riss had said to him about Roy’s mother’s wanting to be with him and not being blood related. He figured he could be the bad guy and asked to speak to Erisu in private, her companions of course could attend as well.

This was one night before he was to continue his journey. Justin had noticed that Arla stole glances at him and he learned that she was the Princess of the Beipan Kingdom. Beipan was a peculiar word he felt he had heard somewhere before but he figured it wouldn’t mean much.

Privately with Erisu, Mana and Sarai the trio of Justin, Riss and Liss were talking.

Justin:”There is something I want to let you know so that there are no surprises.”

Erisu:”Something I need to know? It’s about Roy isn’t it?”

Justin:”Well, it’s about his mother’s actually.”

Riss:”You might find the closeness he shares with his mothers a little difficult. They want to sleep in the same bed as him, they like to bathe with him and physically hug him at every opportunity.”
